“When we realized that we needed window coverings for our new office, our electrician recommended J Designs.  Janet was FABULOUS to work with!  We have extremely high ceilings and tons of large windows throughout the office.  We tinted the windows first, but it was not enough to keep the warm sun out. “We recently had to order window coverings for our new home. I had called quite a few ‘window covering’ businesses only to discover drapes, which was my preference, was not an option they offered. This is a dead giveaway to my age. 

After additional calls and Google searches, I came across J Designs in Yakima. After looking at the address it occurred to me that I remembered her business from decades earlier. I was always curious, but never stopped to peruse. To make a long story short…too late, I called made an appointment and the rest is history.

Jan (J) and I talked about what I had envisioned. She had many creative recommendations. Two meetings plus 3 phone calls later, the fabric for the draperies were ordered and approximately 3 weeks later Jan had completed the job and they looked stunning! Now they are hanging in our home and I am a happy camper. Plus, I was quite impressed with the decor in her shop and took away lots of ideas. She didn’t know about that. Not sure if there would be a charge so I never mention it.”
